I am a wife of 63 years, mother (9), grandmother (19) and greatgrandmother (15) (latest count) Working as a special ed teacher (of the visually impaired) in the Chicago School system, I learned much about people who live in inner city. For the most part the children were African American or Mexicans. But after 22 years, I retired in 1986. Norman, my husband and I have traveled to all of the fifty States of the Union and have been to Europe 8 times. At the present time We are living in a Dell Web community in Huntley, Il. I spend about an hour every morning reading the Economist magazine. My education of the world has been very enlighting. I also am reading Churchhill"s history of the British people and as I am involved with the 1200 and 1300, I amenjoying Thomas Costain books about the Planagent as rulers on the Norman empire. My motto is " do what you enjoy during retirement".
